| Rosewood Scrub Historical Society |
Did you know... Did you know that the name Rosewood Scrub describes the region that encompasses Mt Marrow, Tallegalla, Prenzlau, Marburg, Minden, Fernvale, Lowood, Haigslea, Rosewood and Tarampa? The name was given by colonial botanist and explorer Allan Cunningham who famously described the Rosewood Scrub as “impenetrable”.
|
Many local families have researched their own history and produced books detailing from their family’s arrival to the present day. There is a large collection of these books available for perusal in the library. On open days, volunteers are available to help you start your family history journey.
