Did you know... Did you know that the Curtis Brothers built a sawmill powered by a waterwheel in the late 1800's in what is now Joalah National Park? A working model can be seen at the Heritage Centre.

Did you know... Did you know that dairying was an important industry on Tamborine Mountain? The Jenyns dairy was dismantled when no longer required and can be seen where it was reconstructed at the Heritage Centre.

Occupation money circulated by Japanese forces in PNG to demoralise Australian troops during World War II. It gives insight to young people of the seriousness of the situation for Australia in WWII.

Did you know... Did you know that early timber getters climbed trees to where they wanted to cut them by inserting boards in notches they cut in the trees and then felled the trees by axe or crosscut saws? Stumps with the notches in them can be seen at the heritage Centre.
