Did you know... Did you know that the Council Chambers were built from stone quarried across the park? It only took 3 months to build them. They have Scottish baronial style crow-step gables.

Alderman Jolly took this to Town Hall when he became Mayor of Brisbane in 1925. A grander Mayor's Chair took its place when the new City Hall was built.

Did you know... Do you know what the hieroglyphics on the front of the building are? Windsor was a Shire from 1887 to 1904 when it became a town. The name was carved over the top of the other on the building!

Did you know... Did you know that Brisbane's First Lord Mayor, William Jolly was the Mayor of the town of Windsor from 1921 to 1923 and had been an Alderman of the town of Windsor from 1913 to 1925?
