The museum is located in the soldiers memorial hall building first opened on 26 November 1921. It occupies two floors of the building. On entering you see the crypt and honour boards, moving further into the museum you arrive in the main hall where our stained glass window can be viewed. This hall also contains a collection of original paintings commemorating the light horse. There are several display cases containing memorabilia on this floor.

On the second floor is a large collection of uniforms, photos, display cases and several rooms with theme displays. We have an extensive collection of handmade post cards from World War 1 and several dairies from soldiers who served during WW1.
